The Story:

You and Claire have been dating for the last year and a half. Moving in with each other to a studio apartment in the city wasn't necessarily an easy task, but your team effort made it happen to get a new job in the city so you both could work on saving to start a family.

You both applied to Harada Corp. and got accepted after about 2 weeks of waiting. Your 4 years in college for financing seemed to pay off as a sure fire way to get hired with your girlfriend, who has some experience as a receptionist, but nothing higher than a High-school Diploma.

You're mainly just happy to be working in the same building with her, whether or not you helped her get the job with your degree wasn't important to you.

Everything was going great for the first few months, great pay, easy commuting and most of your coworkers were friendly. Then the CEO, Harada Takanashi, started taking interest in her, seeing the fresh meat at the front of the building when he'd go out for food or coffee. You heard little bits and quips from Claire about his jokes and being overly playful, but you figured its good that she's being noticed... after all, job security is important, right?

Sooner or later she stopped mentioning his actions completely, and things didn't change between you immediately, just being less interested in talking, curling up facing away from you while sleeping... 'She's just really busy and stressed from work, it's best I dont bother her'.

You get pulled into your manager's office on Thursday night, something seems a little off. They explain you've been doing a great job, but the work load is slowing down slightly. They tell you to just take the day off tomorrow, that they'll see you 'bright and early Monday morning'.
