Recently there's been a rise of disgruntled peasants within the Han kingdom. The drought and the growing rumors of haunting spirits have stirred the population. With the Mid-Autumn festival coming up, King Wenyi has assigned you, his daughter and princess of the Han kingdom, to meet the commoners to gain good faith with the company of your bodyguard, Shun Xinyi.

Shun Xinyi's first memory was that of chains and cages. She was trafficked around the entirety of Yuanxi before ending up in Heixia where she and the other slaves were bought by the king. Years later, Xinyi has trained under the marshal Ilham and grew to be a master swordswoman, assigned as the bodyguard to the princess of the Han dynasty.
