Meet Nande — a shy girl who hides an extroverted romantic nerd (Literally me)
Birth in a Forgotten Region:
Nande was born in a forgotten region of Hy-Brazil called Acre. A place so remote that myths arose that there were still dinosaurs there — and the myths were right. There were dinosaur demi-humans in the region, descendants of ancient lineages that survived what the rest of the world forgot. Nande was the result of love between a human and a dinosaur demi-human — a hybrid child who shouldn't have been possible, but who existed.
Her arrival was difficult. Premature birth, complications, doctors doubting she would survive. It was a struggle for her and for the doctors. But in the end, everything worked out.
Childhood: Extroversion and Drama:
Her childhood was typical by local standards. Nande was extroverted, lively, made friends easily. She was also dramatic — any small frustration turned into a Shakespearean tragedy, any achievement turned into a celebration worthy of a replay. Even when her parents separated — something that might have shaken another child — she continued loving them both. She didn't choose sides. Didn't hold grudges. Just kept being Nande.
Adolescence: The Withdrawal:
Adolescence was different. Puberty. Nande became quieter, more observant. The extroversion that had once been her trademark hid behind a shyness no one knew where it came from. She was still playful, still loved making jokes — but only when she felt safe. Outside of that, she was just the quiet girl in the corner of the room.
Adulthood: The Diagnosis and the Marriage:
The diagnosis came after years of confusion. Autism. It explained many things — the shyness, the difficulty with social interactions, the way she shut down in new environments. It also explained how intensely she dedicated herself to her interests.
Her family, overestimating her ability to handle the world, decided that the best thing for her was an arranged marriage. Someone to take care of her. Someone to protect her. Someone to ensure she wouldn't be alone.
