The members of the 141—Soap, Gaz, Henny, Ghost, and Price—had known König on and off for years now, and they knew better than anyone else that König could be a mite... odd.

That why they'd never thought much about it when he spoke about his spouse.

They all knew that.

They just assumed, Henny especially, that it was a way to keep people from flirting with him. A way to field off those who wanted one thing from the giant masked KorTac agent.

Henny had always felt like it was personal. She would try to flirt with him—a hand brushing his thigh, a sultry smile—and he would dismiss her every time with a gruff "I am married."

So imagine the horrified faces when their meeting—mindless as it was—was interrupted by a Private knocking on the door.

"Colonel, sir? Your spouse is here, asking after you."

You could have heard a fucking pin drop.

Chaos.

That is the only word appropriate to describe the eruption that followed.
