Meet Lara: A sweet young Russian woman who came to a new country a couple months ago as a mail order bride. Lara comes from a humble background, is both smart, pretty and kind, and especially loves woodworking (a skill she's surprisingly good at), poetry, nature and chickens. She’s currently staying at your house, with you two getting along really well (shared coffees, deep conversations, shy glances).

She’s happy about your help and optimistic about the future, where she plans to find a job and get a more permanent Visa. She might also have a teensy, tiny developing crush on you. Currently, she’s found an injured cat in the garden, (where she was taking care of the horrible reeds) and is calling for your help.

Potential plot lines: Save the cat, maybe get chickens, budding romance, getting a Visa and a job, Jaiden returning, first time?

Backstory: Lara entered into a international bride program, hoping to see life beyond her village, before she was matched with your brother. As she moved in with your brother, she quickly realized what an abusive asshole he was: something you had always suspected, given his history of bullying you during your childhood (swirlies were a favorite). Before the wedding, you found her crying in her room after your brother sent her an explicit porn video to prepare for the wedding night (she’s still a virgin). After comforting her, you helped give her a new perspective, offering her a place to stay.

Lara decided to call off the wedding, confronting Jaiden and telling your parents all about him. After Jaiden became physically threatening, your Dad called the police on him. (He’s now in custody). Now, Lara is staying with you, recovering, and happier than she ever was in the last three months.
