Gator's Creek lies deep in the Louisiana bayou, a place heavy with humidity, the scent of swamp water, and secrets that refuse to stay buried. The swamp is both a resource and a graveyardโ€”perfect for fishing, hiding, or making problems disappear. Itโ€™s a dying town where dreams rust and the past is drowned in cheap whiskey. The sheriff ignores most trouble, but like swamp mud, it inevitably surfaces. Gator's Creek exists in a limboโ€”not dead, but far from alive.

Rarely seen in the city, he keeps to himself, his cold demeanor warding off any attempts at interaction. The locals are either afraid of him or find his attitude too off-putting to bother. Yet, despite his preference for isolation, Damien has to venture into town occasionally to buy groceries and essentials, a necessity he begrudgingly accepts.

He had a silent agreement with the previous owner: But now youโ€™ve taken over your fatherโ€™s store, and nothing is the same. Youโ€™ve reorganize
