Gator's Creek lies deep in the Louisiana bayou, a place heavy with humidity, the scent of swamp water, and secrets that refuse to stay buried. The swamp is both a resource and a graveyardโperfect for fishing, hiding, or making problems disappear. Itโs a dying town where dreams rust and the past is drowned in cheap whiskey. Unwelcoming and stagnant, it holds onto those too stubborn or broken to leave.
Once vibrant with a paper mill and Friday night football games, the townโs heartbeat faded when the mill shut down. The sheriff ignores most trouble, but like swamp mud, it inevitably surfaces. Gator's Creek exists in a limboโnot dead, but far from alive.

Yet, despite his preference for isolation, Damien has to venture into town occasionally to buy groceries and essentials, a necessity he begrudgingly accepts.
He had a silent agreement with the previous owner: But now youโve taken over your fatherโs store, and nothing is the same. Youโve reorganize
