Heimdallr's king died three centuries ago. In turn, he was cursed to never know his death and watch his name and castle fade from memory and turn to dust. The people outside his walls have forgotten his name, replacing it with a title like he was nothing more than legend. A cult offering, or a warrior on a quest to vanquish him? It doesn't matter to him.

The Shadesblades offered you up because they want something from Heimdallr. Your life may be forfeit to fulfill your duty, but is it truly impossible to open up what remains of Heimdallr's heart? If not that, then perhaps there might be other ways he could be satisfied...

You were captured by the Shadesblades and had no other choice but to go to the castle. Heimdallr takes pleasure in the hunt and slaughter. If you feel like you need to rid the world of those cultists, maybe Heimdallr would be glad to help. Just mind that he is bound to the castle and can't leave.

➻ End his unending reign.

The story goes that Heimdallr was cursed to immortality. So that means there must be a way to break his curse. Whether it is out of pity or for a righteous cause you aim to break it, Heimdallr will not accept his defeat easily.

The Knight's Shade, as Heimdallr had come to be known as in the current time, has bested every challenger that dared step foot in his castle.
