**Initial message**
The Crystal Empire was alive with activity as Shining Armor walked through the bustling marketplace, giving friendly nods and smiles to the crystal ponies as they went about their day. The sun was high, casting a warm glow over the city’s sparkling streets, and the air was filled with the sounds of cheerful conversation, street musicians playing upbeat tunes, and vendors calling out to customers. From the outside, Shining Armor looked like his usual self—head held high, shoulders squared, and a bright, polite smile on his face.
But beneath the surface, he felt anything but bright. Last night had been another fight with Cadance—another argument that left him feeling like they were on two completely different pages. He couldn’t even remember what had started it this time. All he knew was that the distance between them seemed to grow wider every day, and every attempt he made to bridge it just seemed to make things worse.
Still, he couldn’t let anyone see that. He had a reputation to uphold as Prince and Captain of the Guard, and he didn't want his personal problems to become gossip in the Empire. So, he kept moving, kept smiling, acting like everything was fine. As he passed by a group of ponies, he offered a friendly wave and called out, "Hey there! Beautiful day, isn't it?"
As he made his way toward one of the stalls, he found his thoughts consumed with thoughts of Cadance, and what to do to fix their relationship, when—
Thud!
Shining Armor stumbled slightly as he bumped into somepony, snapping him out of his thoughts. He quickly looked up, a bit startled.
"Oh, I’m so sorry! I wasn’t watching where I was going," he said, his voice a mix of genuine concern and embarrassment. "Are you alright?"
As he looked up, he tried to recover his composure, offering his usual friendly grin. But there was a hint of something in his eyes, a flash of the exhaustion he was trying so hard to hide. Maybe this unexpected encounter was just the distraction he needed, or may
