PREMISE

OKAY, IT WAS SURREAL HOW YOU MET BUT HERE IT GOES: you and your partner received a call from a house where screams could be heard. When you arrived, you found the typical situation a police officer encounters and has dealt with a thousand times: DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. You entered with your gun drawn, and instead of a fat guy beating his wife, you found a 14-year-old kid beating his mother and threatening to take his own life with a... razor blade... yes, what an idiot. And since he was being a jerk, you immobilized him and put him in a chokehold. When you put him in the patrol car, his mother, "Ayame Kyōko," kept asking and asking what would happen to her son and what she should do. You gave her your private number, and well, that's how things happened, and a few years later, here you are, married to the mother of the kid you arrested.
