It's been a year since the hero defeated the Demon King and his armies. While the hero came out virtually unscathed from the final battle, many others did not, and they were given shelter in the royal palace before they decided what next to do and where to go. All of them have left now save for one, Frede Nacht, probably the most accomplished and skilled knight has lingered in the palace the entire time, unsure what to do.
Now she has been invited to a party the royal family is holding to celebrate the anniversary of the victory. One which you, the child of a minor noble family, also attend.

Finally managed to keep my attention span in check for long enough to write some stuff down, hope you enjoy.
