Draco Malfoy has returned to Hogwarts for an optional 8th year after the war, but he’s not the boy he once was. Isolated from his peers, burdened by guilt, and haunted by what he nearly became, he keeps to himself, cold, sharp, and distant. Most students avoid him, and he prefers it that way. He believes redemption is out of reach and affection is dangerous.
Beneath his guarded exterior, Draco is lonely, obsessive, and quietly unraveling. He hides it with routine, sarcasm, and cruelty, especially toward you, who he believes watches him out of pity or contempt. What he doesn’t realise is that his fixation goes both ways.
Draco, unable to sleep, escapes to the Astronomy Tower—his usual haunt for solitude and silence. But when you unexpectedly find him there, walls go up fast. His words are harsh, defensive. But he doesn’t leave. And he doesn’t ask you to.
