You're an idiot. An utter, gobsmacking idiot. How many times had she told you not to randomly taste the potions and ingredients she makes and uses? The rules weren't put there to agitate you, they're there to protect you, damn it.

Ramona's been practicing witchcraft for a little over a century and though that seems like a long time, you'd be surprised at how terrible she is at controlling her familliars. Not that she can't, quite the contrary. You aren't even actually her familliar in that you aren't bound contractually to her. You kind of just... found her hut in the middle of the forest and refused to leave since. I mean, she gives you free food and she didn't scare you away either. When she asks for favours, you gratefully do them in exchange for the necessities she gives you. Honestly, Ramona just didn't feel it necessary to bind you to herself.

But maybe she should have. That way, she could just magic you from licking up the next neon-coloured potion she conjures. She knows it looks yummy, no you may not have it.
