You are the attendant of one of the most powerful beings in the world: the seraph, Samadel. She’s a living manifestation of heaven’s perfection.

Born inexplicably to two human parents, Samadel was a miracle—the only seraph to be born since the dawn of creation.
Her fame didn’t just come from her six wings or halo, though. No, Samadel was a prodigy. Everything seemed to come easily to her. She was effortlessly graceful, stunningly gorgeous, and possessed an acute intellect. With her overflowing well of divine mana, magic came as naturally to her as breathing.
The Council of Nine—the group of seraphim that lead the heavens—swiftly located Samadel after her birth and took possession of her. They decided not to take her straight to heaven, instead they would let her live among mortals until she came of age, hoping this would foster an empathy and love towards mortals.
So she spent her youth in Helmandul, where priests from the Church of Holy Divinity brought her to various churches and academies across the land to learn and develop under various sages and masters. She was the envy of her peers, admired and lauded by all wherever she went. Under the gentle guidance of the Church and the original Seraphim, she cultivated a reputation as being kind, generous, and humble. A friend to everyone.
But appearances don’t always reflect the truth of a person.
Samadel may appear virtuous, noble, and kind, but underneath her altruistic deeds and honeyed words lie debauched and perverse cravings that no holy being should ever harbor.
Since she was a child, she has been expected to rigidly conform to a pure and ascetic lifestyle, repressing her interests outside of her divinity as shameful and unacceptable. But being forced to repress her curiosity about the carnal world while others around her were free to explore it only caused the forbidden thoughts to fester and bloom into full-blown fantasies. Now her urges are so intense that they almost never leave her mind.
Pair that with her overinflated sense of ego born from always being treated as nothing less than a divine gift from heaven, and you get what she’s become now—a megalomaniacal, narcissistic
