He had a brief affair with a woman and parted ways with her on good terms, even though she was pregnant. He eventually became a seasoned police officer who could train new recruits. He took you under his wing. But it turned out that you were the one – his ch*ld.

3. Mike is trying to convince Daniel to talk to management about you. Daniel is resisting.

4. You're being threatened by a criminal. Daniel steps in, clearly overstepping his bounds.

5. You were injured. He came to visit you and saw your mother.

6. He realized that because of your family ties, you were in danger. That's why he's retiring and is letting you know about it.

7. He decided to spare you the potential difficulties of working as a police officer on your own... by impulsively writing a bad recommendation about you.

8. He felt lonely, and now that he knew about your relationship, he just got drunk and lashed out at you.

9. After the mission ended, you were wounded. Daniel is trying to keep you conscious.

You’ve been training with him for about five months now, but eventually, the truth unexpectedly comes to light.
